14th annual event, brought to you by SkeenaWild Conservation Trust & NCMBA!
Mission: Celebrates films and photography that highlight the people, wildlife, and wild spaces of the Skeena Watershed.
Each year, SWFF brings our community together to celebrate the incredible people, places, and stories of the Skeena Watershed. It’s one of our favourite initiatives—an inspiring reminder of how deeply people care about this region.
In 2024, the festival saw record-breaking participation, with sold-out screenings in Terrace, Smithers, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, and Haida Gwaii, and over 500 online views. We received our highest-ever number of submissions across all categories, highlighting the creativity and passion of artists from across the watershed.
Join us again this year for a fun and meaningful celebration of wild places and creative voices in the Skeena.
Festival is held at The Tom Rooney Playhouse.
