CASTING CALL
Join us for a script reading with the intention of casting ‘I’ll Be Waiting by Our Tree’, a play written and directed by local playwright Natasha Dover. No acting experience required!
This comedy drama centers on a husband who has died and refuses to cross over and his wife struggling to move on. It's an exploration of the collective grief and healing of a family from both sides of the veil.
The roles that are being cast are as follows:
3 Women - 20 to 30 years old
3 Men - 20 to 30 years old
1 Women - 40 to 60 years old
The script reading will be held at the Tom Rooney Play House (954 3rd Avenue West) On Sunday March 29th, 2026 1pm - 3pm.
Casting will be announced via phone or email in early April with show dates for late June.
If you plan on coming to the reading you can email ndover416@gmail.com for the scenes and additional info ahead of time or come freestyle the day of. If you want to come but can’t make it that day please email as well. Leave no thespian behind!
